Some question’s or concerns you might have:
1. Does the ABC diet work?
Yes, since the diet is a strict low-cal diet that switches calorie intake everyday your body is most likely to lose weight quite fast by working out and drinking the water intake according to your weight you should see results immediately!
2. What should you eat?
Fruit, veggies, nuts, 100 cal snacks , tea, water, coffee, fish , and chicken breast the list goes on and on. Stay away from fast food and sugary drinks. Moderation is key, if you eat all you calories in the same meal the diet will be even harder. (Chew thoroughly and cut your meat to make yourself even more full)
3. When do you start seeing results?
Some people start seeing results the first day! I saw results my 3rd day! which was discouraging don’t give up if you didn’t lose 3lbs your first day or if you only lost one pound remember you did put it on over night and you aren’t going to lose it over night. Also measure yourself!!! the scale can’t show everything and take pictures!
4. How do you hide your diet from friends and family?
This is the #1 concern for most people. Usually when family and friends know you are doing a diet (especially this one) they will talk you out try or try feeding you even more and try to tell you that you can’t do it! Stay strong and do not listen to the people around you prove them wrong!
5. What happens when you mess up?
DO NOT RESTART THE DIET OR PURGE!!! Yes you will mess up not everyday will be on the money if you mess up workout and burn calories do not restart the diet just keep going if you didn’t make your goal the first time just keep going. I have never purged because well I can’t make myself purge. When you eat your body absorbs the calories right away. I am not an expert. On day 2 or 3 i did get sick but i don’t think i had drastic results. Try to do the ABC diet as healthy as possible.
6.How to keep the weight off and what to do after you made it to your goal weight
There is a diet similar to the ABC diet called Skinny Girl Diet which has a higher cal intake and no fasting. My plan is once I get my goal weight I will start doing that and add more calories. Keep drinking water, tea etc and also workout. Burn your calorie intake. I suggest still count calories get rid of the scale for a bit so you don’t over do yourself.
7. Have an ana buddy!
The more support during the diet the better the results it’s always nice to talk to someone that knows how you feel and has the same goals.
8. Activities to do when you are hungry :
Paint you nails
read a book
play a game on you phone
listen to music
look at thinspiration pictures
find clothes you want to wear when you make it to your goal
write in your diary
watch youtube videos on the diet look where you can be
The main goal of this diet is not just for the looks, stares, whispers, thigh gap, collarbones, cheek bones, nice butt, lean legs, confidence , clearer skin, longer hair, and for friends to be jealous of you. Yes we do want all of that but it’s to get healthy. If we were all eating right, working out, drinking water, and watching what we eat we wouldn’t be on this diet. Don’t give up make it to that day when you stand on the scale look down and see your goal weight. Maybe one day we call post pics of ourselves and be someone elses thinspiration.
